Our Why

We believe that every child deserves to feel safe and experience the joys of childhood and not have to carry the weight of adult problems. As followers of Christ, we believe that God loves each of the families that we will serve. Our desire is to extend His love by serving the families who find themselves in crisis.

Unfortunately, as we look around our world, we see vulnerable children everywhere. They may be homeless, orphaned, abandoned, impoverished—each story is different, but the needs are great.

Currently there are over 500,000 children in the US Foster Care system.

There are 1,000 children in our Wyoming Foster Care system.

There are not enough homes to provide care for the children. All over our country there are social workers working hard to find a placement for children—especially sibling groups. In addition, there are children living in less-than-ideal situations who ARE NOT in foster care—these children can easily fall through the cracks.

Fostering Hope Children’s Home is here to provide a home for children who simply need a safe place. We are here for the vulnerable. We are here to offer HOPE.
